Falcons Notch First Win of Season Over St. Mary’s Ryken
The program enjoyed a fantastic regular season opener in Leonardtown, MD – both teams were victorious over the St. Mary’s Ryken Knights in straight sets. The Falcons led in every category and from start to finish in both matches.
Coach Trent said that she “was proud of the hard work and intensity that the junior varsity squad showed. She saw talent on the court from start to finish and leadership from sophomore Emily Samara.”
The Falcons will take on local rival Magruder HS on Tuesday, September 7 at 6:45pm at Magruder HS. Come one, come all to support the Falcons!
As Meat loaf once said "2 Outta 3 Ain't Bad" and in this case it is Championships. The Falcons had another great season this year, extending their win streak to 76 in the WCAC, Winning the WCAC Championship for the 4th straight season and Finishing 2nd in the City Championships. Most coaches, players and fans would say that is great and start preparing for next season, not the Falcons as they continued their quest for their 4th MD/DC Private School Championship.
